THREADS MANAGEMENT FOR BRANDS & CORPORATIONS

Growth Strategy for Corporate and Big Brands

I run Threads for brands the way it has to be run at scale: one governed voice, daily presence, real community management, and calm hands in a crisis.

Nerd Note: Before my first post for any brand, I read months of what your community has already said about you. Sentiment data is the brief. The posting comes second.

Corporate Threads accounts fail in two ways.

The first is silence. The account announced something eight months ago and has said nothing since, while customers, critics, and competitors discuss the brand every day in a channel where nobody from the company is listening. The second is defensiveness. A customer pushes back on a post and a brand account ends up arguing with its own users in public, with screenshots circulating before anyone in legal has seen the thread. Both patterns cost goodwill daily, and both are visible to everyone who searches your name.

Threads is where your most vocal customers already are. The conversation about your brand happens with or without you. My work is making sure it happens with you, in a single governed voice your organization can stand behind, backed by data you can put in front of a board.

What I take over

The full operation of your corporate Threads presence, documented so that your team can audit any part of it at any time.

Full voice and tone governance (an SOP your whole team can audit)
Daily posting from a managed evergreen content bank
Every reply and DM handled with a documented decision tree
Community repair: de-escalating vocal detractors into relationships
Crisis communications: factual, fast, never defensive
Public education campaigns for controversial product or policy changes
Monthly executive reporting with sentiment notes alongside the numbers
NDA-backed confidentiality as standard
What happens after you book You'll get a calendar link to pick a 30-minute call. We talk about your brand, your community, and what the engagement would need to cover. If we proceed, the first document signed is a confidentiality agreement, before you share anything sensitive.

Case study 1: reputation repair for a national SaaS platform

Name protected under NDA

The client's name is under NDA, which tells you something about the seriousness of the work. What I can share is what happened. The account had been dormant for months while public sentiment soured, and the community had filled the silence with its own version of events.

In the first 30 days of the engagement:

15,000
Views on a previously silent account
377
Interactions in 30 days
55%
Of interactions were replies

The account recorded 15,000 views in that first month, with roughly 90% arriving in the 8 days after a carefully staged relaunch. That shape is deliberate. The relaunch was held back until the listening work, the voice SOP, and the content bank were in place, and the chart below shows what happened when it went live.

Anonymized client chart: daily Threads views across the first 30 days of the engagement, showing near-zero views before relaunch and sustained spikes after
Daily views, first 30 days. Near-zero before the staged relaunch, sustained spikes after.

Of the 377 interactions, 55% were replies (two-way conversation rather than passive likes). For a brand rebuilding trust, that mix matters more than the raw volume, because replies are where sentiment actually changes.

Anonymized client chart: interaction mix showing 207 replies against 165 likes, a conversation-led engagement profile

What the numbers don't show

Community sentiment measurably warmed over the course of the month, with previously critical voices engaging constructively in both public replies and private conversations.

Customer support protocols were rebuilt for the channel: documented reply workflows, escalation paths, and response-time standards, so every public question gets a knowledgeable answer instead of silence.

Brand voice governance held across every post, reply, and DM: one documented voice, calm under pressure, and never defensive, including through high-stakes moments mid-engagement.

Case study 2: a social media agency, built from zero

Name protected under NDA

Repair is one kind of engagement. This is the other: an account I started from an empty profile and grew into one of the louder voices in its niche. From zero to 8,000 followers in six months, with multiple viral posts along the way. The last 90 days alone:

4.2M
Views in 90 days
118K
Interactions in 90 days
0 → 8K
Followers in six months
Anonymized client chart: daily Threads views over 90 days totaling 4.2 million, with several viral posts spiking to hundreds of thousands of views and one reaching one million

Daily views, last 90 days. Values approximate, read from Threads Insights.

Anonymized client chart: view sources showing 64.5% of views arriving from algorithmic feed distribution to non-followers and 31.9% from the follower home feed

View sources, last 90 days. Two-thirds of all views arrive from Threads distributing the content beyond the account's own followers.

What this one proves

Reach is engineered, not lucky. 64.5% of views come from algorithmic distribution to non-followers, which only happens when content consistently earns engagement the algorithm trusts.

Virality repeats when the system is right. Multiple posts broke out across the 90 days, including a one-million-view day, from a documented voice and content bank, not one-off inspiration.

The audience is decision-makers, not passersby. Followers skew 35 and up (over 79% are 25+), the demographic that hires agencies and buys business services.

Two engagements, two different jobs: one rebuilt trust for an established platform, one built an audience from nothing. Both names stay sealed, and both stories are available in detail on a call, under mutual NDA.

The Engagement

How the engagement works

Dana Skalin, corporate Threads manager
1

Strategy Call & Confidentiality Agreement

A 30-minute call about your brand, your community, and the state of the account. If we move forward, we sign a mutual NDA before you share anything sensitive, and I scope the engagement in writing.

2

The Listening Tour

Two weeks mapping your community before a single post goes out: who your critics are, what the standing grievances actually say, and what voice the brand can credibly carry. This phase ends with two deliverables your team keeps: the voice and tone SOP, and the evergreen content bank.

3

Staged Relaunch & Daily Management

The account comes back deliberately, not with a burst of scheduled content. From relaunch onward I handle daily posting, every reply, every DM, and the community repair work, all inside the documented decision tree.

4

Executive Reporting & Strategy Reviews

Monthly executive reporting with sentiment notes alongside the numbers, written to be forwarded upward without translation. Quarterly strategy reviews adjust the scope as the community and the business change.

Engagement structure

Engagements start at $2,200 USD per month and are scoped to three variables: posting volume, reply and DM coverage hours, and reporting depth. The minimum term is 3 months, because trust repair does not happen in 30 days.

I limit the roster to a small number of concurrent brand clients so responsiveness stays real.

Common Questions

The answers before you book.

Why are the case studies anonymous? +

NDAs are standard for this work, and I would sign the same one for you. Brands that hire outside help for their social presence rarely want that fact public, and I respect it. References and further detail are available in a call, under mutual NDA.

Who actually runs the account? +

I do, personally. Your account is not handed to a junior team after the sales call. That is also why the roster is capped: every reply that carries your brand's name comes from the person you hired.

How do approvals work? +

As light or as strict as your compliance requirements need. Some clients pre-approve the content bank and let me operate inside it. Some want escalation-only approvals for sensitive topics. Some need a full pre-approval workflow for every post. We set the model during onboarding and write it into the SOP.

What happens if there's a crisis at 9pm? +

The engagement includes a documented crisis posture with response-time targets set in the SOP, agreed before anything goes wrong. When high-stakes moments have arisen mid-engagement, they were handled under exactly that protocol: factual, fast, and never defensive.

Can you also run our Pinterest or SEO? +

Yes. Many brand clients pair Threads with Brand Growth Strategy or a website SEO audit. If you want one partner across channels, we scope it in the same engagement.

Do you work with agencies? +

Yes. White-label and subcontract arrangements exist today, with the same confidentiality standards. If you're an agency scoping Threads for a client, book a call and say so up front.

Your community is already talking. Join the conversation properly.

One governed voice, daily presence, and reporting your executives will actually read.
